“2” Club
The “2 Club” started many years ago at golf clubs in the United States. If you score a 2 on a hole, you can become a member of the “2 Club.” Rules of the “2 Club” are as follows:
- Any player who scores a 2 when playing with a “2 Club” member may purchase a “2 Club” pin from Karen Henderson for $4.00. Sending an email request to Ringersandbirdies@gmail.com
- Once a “2 Club” member, you will collect $1.00 from the “2 Club” members in your foursome whenever you score a 2. Similarly, you will pay $1.00 to other “2 Club” members (in your foursome) when they score a 2 on a hole.
- “2 Club” members must be wearing, displaying or have in their possession the official “2 Club” pin during the golf round to receive $1.00 from the other members.
- All “2 Club” members are eligible to induct other players into the club.
- “2 Club” is not limited to NWGA members. “2 Club” members can be found around our area and around the country.

Ringer Competition
The Ringer Competition is a fun way to see how you improve on each hole throughout the golf season, as well as to compete with other NWGA members for the lowest gross and net scores at the end of the season.
- Enter the Ringer Competition , the first day of the season that you play an individual stroke play round with a Norbeck member, after April 12. A Norbeck member must attest/sign your scorecard then email a photo of your scorecard to Ringersandbirdies@gmail.com, (ensure that your name, date played and attester’s name are legible!). Each time you play a round at Norbeck thereafter, continue to email your scorecards.
- Your scores will be entered into your own personal spreadsheet and your ringer scores will automatically be highlighted. You may request your scorecard history at the beginning of any month.
- at the end of the golf season, points will be awarded for low gross and net winners. The point awards can be used for dining, cart fees or Pro Shop credit. Note: The Ringer Competition begins on April 12th and ends October 20th.
- Questions can be directed to Karen Henderson.
Birdie Competition
- Everyone who enters the Birdie competition is competing for the most Birdies during the golf season. Whenever you have a birdie, a Norbeck member must attest/sign your scorecard. Email a photo of your scorecard to Ringersandbirdies@gmail.com, (ensure that your name, date played and attester’s name are legible!). Soon after, your name will appear on the Birdie Tree.
- At the end of the golf season, the member with the most birdies is declared winner and receives monetary credit good for cart fees, dining or Pro Shop purchases.
